April 2017, nach fast 54 Jahren fand die letzte Fahrt der Eibsee-Seilbahn statt. Und somit hei\u00dft es Abschied nehmen, von der Eibsee-Seilbahn, liebevoll \u201ealte Dame\u201c genannt. Seitdem 15. Mai 1963 hat sie 21,3 Millionen Menschen sicher auf den Gipfel der Zugspitze und wieder zur\u00fcck ins Tal bef\u00f6rdert. Ihr Bau war zu damaligen Zeiten eine technische Meisterleistung. Nun wird die alte Anlage durch einen modernen Neubau ersetzt. Was ebenso eine technische Meisterleistung sein wird, denn auch sie wird neue Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be setzen und damit zwei neue Rekorde aufstellen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Da wir hier in Garmisch-Partenkirchen fast direkt unter der Zugspitze wohnen. War es f\u00fcr mich klar, dass ich einen Abstecher zum Eibsee unternehmen werde um die letzten Fahrten der Eibsee-Seilbahn fotografisch festzuhalten. Denn in den n\u00e4chsten Wochen wird nichts mehr am Eibsee so aussehen, wie wir es jetzt noch kennen. Und da hat sich bereits das letzte halbe Jahr sehr viel getan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">F\u00fcr meine erfolgreiche Mission (Abschied von der Eibsee-Seilbahn) spielte das Wetter mit und so Stand den sch\u00f6nen und teilweise sonnigen Abschiedsbildern nichts mehr im Wege. Bis Dezember 2017 wird die Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG ihre bestehende Seilbahn auf Deutschlands h\u00f6chsten Berg durch eine neue, moderne Pendelbahn mit zwei Kabinen f\u00fcr je 120 Personen ersetzen. Das Besondere: Statt wie bisher mit zwei St\u00fctzen soll die neue Seilbahn zur Zugspitze mit nur einer 127 Meter hohen und damit der h\u00f6chsten Seilbahnst\u00fctze der Welt auskommen. Mit einem Gesamth\u00f6henunterschied von 1.945 Metern in einer Sektion sowie dem l\u00e4ngsten freien Feld mit 3.213 Metern sucht die neue Eibsee-Seilbahn zudem weltweit ihresgleichen. Das Credo: Mehr Komfort f\u00fcr Zugspitzbesucher vor, w\u00e4hrend und nach der Berg- und Talfahrt mit der Seilbahn. Auch die zum Teil langen Wartezeiten an Hochbetriebstagen haben somit k\u00fcnftig ein Ende.<\/p>\n<p>Bei der neuen Eibsee-Seilbahn handelt es sich auch wie bisher um eine Pendelseilbahn. Streckenverlauf und Lage von Tal- und Bergstation bleiben weitgehend gleich. Dennoch wird die Fahrt auf die Zugspitze ab Dezember 2017 noch ein bisschen eindrucksvoller. Vom gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen Eingangsbereich in der barrierefreien Talstation, der bereits bei der Ankunft an der Seilbahn freie Sicht auf den Eibsee und die Zugspitze bietet, erreichen Zuspitzbesucher nach rund 10-min\u00fctiger Bergfahrt in bodentief verglasten Seilbahn-Kabinen die panoramareichen Bahnsteige der Gipfelstation. \u00dcber drei Etagen geht es dann zur Gipfelterrasse, wo Deutschlands h\u00f6chster Gipfel wartet.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend im Baujahr 2015 neben der Baustelleneinrichtung (Montage Baukran und Materialseilbahn) auch die Errichtung der Fundamente f\u00fcr das R\u00fcckspanngeb\u00e4ude und die sp\u00e4teren Tragseilt\u00fcrme erfolgte, liegt der Fokus im 2016 auf die Errichtung der neuen Talstation sowie den Erd- und Betonarbeiten im Bereich der neuen Seilbahnst\u00fctze. In der Gipfelstation beginnen au\u00dferdem die Arbeiten im bestehenden Geb\u00e4udekomplex. Im finalen Baujahr 2017 stehen die Fertigstellung der Bergstation, die Errichtung der Seilbahnst\u00fctze sowie der Seilzug und die Montage der Seilbahntechnik auf dem Programm. Der Fahrbetrieb der bestehenden Eibsee-Seilbahn wird bis Mai 2017 parallel zu den Bauarbeiten aufrechterhalten. Erst dann wird die 1963 in Betrieb genommene Seilbahn ihre letzte Fahrt antreten.
